Season Finale Predictions

As you may or may not know Bananer, my mom and I have certain shows that we like to watch every week. As a matter of fact, up until a few weeks ago Wednesday was the only weeknight without one of our shows. Thanks a lot ABC for bringing in Notes From the Underbelly. No, seriously, thank you for this new show. I laugh my ass off at it every week but I'm not sure it needs to be on at 7:30. Some of, okay most of it, is a little too mature for that time slot if you ask me.

Anyways, I digress. As the season nears its end I have been making my season finale predictions. You know that it's not a good finale unless it leaves you with a cliff hanger. So, here's my predictions so far.


Monday: Dancing With the Stars - I can not pick a winner this season. I find myself torn between Joey & Kim, Laila & Maks, Apollo & Julianne and Ian & Cheryl. It really hurts when I try to pick a winner so I'm not going to. I do predict that the season finale will be filled with some great dancing (well d'uh).

Heroes - Yeah, I can't predict this one either. 1) I haven't watched this week's episode yet and B) they're great at throwing twists in here, there and everywhere. Every episode's a cliff hanger with this one.


Tuesday: NCIS - All I'm saying is something bad is going to happend to Tony's girlfriend. It's going to end with her either getting killed or kidnapped. They've been leading up to that the whole season. And what is up with Jenny's obsession with La Grenouille?! I'm telling ya...they've slept together. That's got to be it. She must have fallen for him during some kind of undercover operation.


Wednesday: Notes From the Underbelly - I can't make a prediction on this one either because it hasn't been on but a couple of weeks now.


Thursday: Grey's Anatomy - Here's my Grey's predictions....1) Callie's going to find out about George and Izzie and she's going to leave him. George and Izzie are finally going to admit that they're supposed to be together. 2) Alex is going to end up with Jane Doe aka Ava. That's been obvious since they brought her onto the show. Alex is also going to finally admit that he belongs on the "Gynie Squad". It's his calling. 3) McDreamy's finally going to dump Meredith and she's finally going to get over it. Seriously. 4) Addison's going to leave (we already know this) and her new spin off is going to kick ass. I'm actually looking forward to it. 5) Burke and Yang are going to get married and she's going to love it. 6) The chief's going to decide that he can't retire. He's not ready to give it up.


Sunday: Desperate Housewives - All I can say on this one is that Carlos is going to stop Gaby's wedding to tell her he still loves her and she's going to take him back. They belong together and it's about time they realize it.





So...there ya go....my season finale predictions. Anyone care to make a wager on any of them? ; )

Whoops! - I really don't understand how they could have messed this up.

Only in Alabama - Seriously...I don't have anything to say about this one.

Look who's having a birthday today!!!!

Today is Little Man's 2nd birthday. And he is definitely a little man now. It's hard to believe that he's 2 already. I can hardly keep up with how fast he's growing.

Random McRandomness

First off, before I even apologize for not blogging as often as I used to, let me say that stupid Blogger just ate the entire post I had just written. And it was a long one too. Full of wit and sarcasm. Shit, now I have to try to recreate that. Great.

Here's some random poo just for you since I haven't blogged that much lately.


Random poo numero uno:

My doc has me on a low dose antidepressant for these headaches I've been getting everyday. I don't like it. Not at all. First, it's not doing a damn thing for these headaches. I'm still getting them just about everyday and some days they are almost unbearable. The med she gave me to take when I get a headache doesn't work either. Second, they make me irritable. And that really sucks. Plus they've got me all scatterbrained. I've been stumbling over my words a lot lately and I've been acting like a crackhead. (You don't want to know how many times I've had to erase words or sentences already and I'm not nearly done with this post.)

I seriously wonder about some, if not most, of the people that work here. Right behind our building is a ditch. This ditch fills up with water when it rains, like just about every ditch does, and it is home to quite a few snakes. This is normally something you are warned about when you come to work here because every spring/summer they will see at least two snakes on the property. Okay, so let me tell you about something that happened this morning.

Boss Man was on the phone and his other line started to ring. Me being the good little Admin Assistant that I am, I answered it. On the other end was someone we'll call Linda.

Linda: Hey, is Boss Man around?
Me: He's on the other line. Can I take a message?
Linda: Well, I hate to complain but I hear them out there with the mowers and Boss Man needs to get over there and unlock the gate to the patio (it's the smokers' normal hang out behind the building) so that they can mow there. We're going to get snakes.
Me: I'll give him the message.

Boss Man got off the phone and I gave him the message. His response to me was that he didn't have the key but he would contact the person who does. He called that person and left him a message and we went about our business. Not even two minutes later Linda came flying into Boss Man's office and said "You need to go unlock that gate so that they can mow around the patio." He told her the same thing he told me and she left. Not even two minutes after that, Boss Man got a call from Big Boss Lady (his boss) saying that Linda had called her and told her the same thing. Some people.


It's time to give a shout out and a big congratulations to...

Jen and Chris. They found out this week that they will adding another little ruffian to their family. He should be making his appearance sometime in July. Yay!! I was waiting until they found out the gender of their little person before I started shopping for baby gifts. Bananer will tell you how much I like shopping for baby gifts. : )

Be jealous. Be very, very jealous. Bananer and I are heading down to Mobile tonight so that we can be some of the first people to board our cruise ship tomorrow. Yep, we're heading out on an extended weekend courtesy of the Carnival Cruise ship Holiday. Woohoo!!!!

Has it been a year already?

Hard to believe it's been a year since I literally bumped into Bananer at one of the local watering holes. Of course we had been chitchatting on the email for a few days prior to but that was the *first time we had actually met in person. Who would have thought that a year later this would be the person I'm going to wake up to the rest of my life.

Happy anniversary honey! I love you!!!!

*We found out that we've actually run into each other before in the past but didn't know who each other was. Weird huh?

It's official!

Bananer and I have now officially set a date. As you can see from the ticker at the bottom of the page we have decided on April 12, 2008.

I promise to keep everybody up to date as the details unfold.

So I've been having migrains all this time? You mean the sinus monsters have not taken up permanent residence in my head?

Really? It's that simple? A prescription? Two at the onset of the headache and one every hour? Could it really be this easy? Will the pain finally go away? Woohoo!!

Wait...what's that warning label on the pill bottle? What does that say? May cause drowsiness? So I can't take these when I get a headache at work?

Guess I'll go back to beating my head against the wall until it goes numb.

Ouch!!!

Did you know that it really hurts if you get it in the head with a Maglite even if it is only being wielded by a 2 year old? And did you know that if you tell a 2 year old not to hit Mommy in the head with a Maglite they're going to do it because they weren't even thinking about doing it until you said something?

Way too much time on my hands...

Yup...another slideshow

I felt it was time for another slideshow. Don't worry...there will be more. ; )

The end has come...

I know you don't want to say goodbye but we must. It's better for me if we stop seeing each other. Yes, we did have some good times. Like that time when we were out with HeHo and she knocked us off of the bar stool. Yeah, that was pretty funny. And then there was that time when you burned a big ass hole in the back seat of my parents' Explorer (that they have not seen yet). That wasn't funny. No, not at all.

Yes, I am sure this is what I want. I want to be able to wake up in the morning and not feel like I'm dying because we partied too much the night before. I want to be able to still smell my shower gel at the end of the day (which has been really nice this week). I want to be able to run after Little Man without having to stop to catch my breath.

I'm sorry Marlboro Man but this is the end.
